the full report which will also be available on line next week at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/recyclingtrial

We will be sending a letter to all residents within the next week with the headline results and the information below.

What happens next?

Based on the response to the consultation we now want to go ahead with the trial with a start date likely to be in April 2012.  We will confirm the date in March when we will send you and all other households in the trial area a pack providing the following information:

The start date of the trialDetails of how to use the new recycling service and what to do if you need assistanceThe date of your last recycling box collection and removal of your recycling box

Many of you submitted additional comments and suggestions. These have been considered and where possible we have made appropriate changes. Some comments relate to issues which may occur after the bins are in place and so these will be considered throughout the trial.

We will conduct a survey during the trial to get your views on how it is working.

Thank you all for your help with the consultation, please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further information, once the new maps have been finalised over the next two weeks I will send these out to you by post as previously.

Please feel free to pass this on to anyone I have missed and once again many thanks for your help.

With kind regards
